Oupa Manyisa Salary at Chippa United 2024
Oupa Manyisa Salary at Chippa United 2024: Oupa Manyisa is a South African footballer who plays as a Central Midfielder for Eastern Cape side Chippa United FC. He was born in Pretoria and currently resides in Johannesburg.
He began his senior career with Orlando Pirates F.C., where he quickly established himself as a crowd pleaser and one of the team’s most important players, assisting them in dominating local football for two consecutive seasons, winning two trebles and finishing runners-up in the Champions League and Confederation Cup competitions.
Despite having played for the Sea Robbers for nine seasons and making over 160 appearances for them, Oupa decided to seek a new challenge, much to the disappointment of the supporters. In 2017, he moved from Orlando Pirates F.C. to Mamelodi Sundowns F.C., however he was unable to establish himself as a regular in the starting lineup, primarily as a result of injuries and intense competition within the team.
Since then, the injuries have continued unabated, and he found himself on the outside looking in just three seasons later.
He then went on to play for TTM F.C., who were making their debut in the Premier Soccer League at the time. However, his contract was canceled barely a month after joining the club, before he had even kicked a ball. The club cited financial difficulties as a reason for this, as Oupa Manyisa was earning a substantial salary.
After going through half of the season without a club, he was signed by Chippa United for the remainder of the 2020/21 season.
Oupa Manyisa Early career
Oupa played for a number of clubs during his early career; he began his amateur career at Napoli FC (a South African amateur side) when he was seven years old, and nine years later he joined PJ Stars.
He also trained at the Africa Sports Youth Academy under the tutelage of Harold Legodi, who was essential in the development of his abilities. Manyisa was able to secure trials with major English clubs such as Chelsea, Manchester United, Blackburn Rovers, as well as French sides in Caen and Strasbourg, thanks to the assistance of Legodi.

Orlando Pirates
Manyisa joined the Orlando Pirates in 2008 after being seen by the team’s scouts. He immediately pleased the team’s coaching staff. He had a fantastic season in 2010/11, forging one of the finest midfield partnerships in the league with Andile Jali, earning him the nickname “Ace.”
His contribution to the Pirates’ first-ever domestic Triple in PSL history came during that season. When Oupa scored the solitary goal of the MTN8 final, it was a cracker from outside the 18-yard box against arch rivals Kaizer Chiefs in extra time. Oupa‘s goal was the only one of the tournament.
When they won another domestic triple, their illustrious collaboration proved to be just as successful as it had been previously. Because of his presence in the Pirates starting lineup, Oupa has enjoyed a successful football career since that time.
The 2013/14 season was the season in which Ace and Senzo Meyiwa set the record for the most appearances in a season for the Orlando Pirates, which they both achieved. He appeared in 51 of their 53 matches, which was a result of their prolonged participation in the CAF Champions League. After being down 2–1 in the league opener against Moroka Swallows on August 9, 2014, Oupa scored a penalty in the second half. When Oupa scored a brace in a 2–2 tie against Bloemfontein Celtic on August 13, it was a big deal.

Mamelodi Sundowns
Manyisa has signed a three-year contract with Mamelodi Sundowns, who are their fiercest rivals.

TTM F.C
He signed with TTM for the 2020/2021 season, but was dismissed after a month after failing to appear in even a single game, along with Joseph Malongoane.

Orlando Pirate fc is where he began his professional career in 2007, and he quickly established himself as one of the league’s most talented players, before joining Mamelodi Sundowns the following year.

Oupa Manyisa International career
On 8 October 2011, Manyisa made his debut for the South African national football team in a 0–0 tie with Sierra Leone in which he scored his first goal.
