Most Expensive Restaurants in Vancouver: British Columbia’s coastal city of Vancouver is one of the most densely populated and culturally diverse urban areas in all of Canada.
In addition to being a well-known location for filming, this mountainous area is home to thriving artistic, theatrical, and musical communities.
Even though Vancouver is well known for its fine dining scene, visitors may still be taken aback by the exorbitant prices of some of the city’s most popular dishes.
In order to compile this list of the most expensive restaurants in Vancouver, we ranked the establishments based on the average price of an entree (also known as a main course) that is offered on their menu.
The prices that were listed were obtained from the respective restaurants’ websites.
For the purpose of compiling this list, only traditional fine dining restaurants were included; no fast food or casual dining spots made the cut.
These are the most expensive restaurants in Vancouver:
Most Expensive Restaurants in Vancouver 2024
1. Le Crocodile Restaurant
Although it is one of the most expensive restaurants in Vancouver, Le Crocodile Restaurant is widely regarded as one of the city’s finest dining establishments. The service is of the highest caliber, and the ambiance is elegant, with white tablecloths draped over each setting and plenty of breathing room between patrons.
The menu at Le Crocodile primarily consists of French dishes, and each and every one of them is mouthwateringly good. As an appetizer, I chose the salmon with lentils, and it was flavorful while still being relatively light.
In addition, the chicken vinaigrette and the green beans sautéed in butter that came as a side dish were both excellent. I requested that the beef be cooked well done, and it was served to me perfectly done, tender, and juicy.
At Le Crocodile, they pay careful attention to every detail of the service they provide; for instance, your water glass will never run dry while you are there. They do so at regular intervals without interfering with your conversation or meal in any way.
When you enter the restaurant, you are greeted by name, which is another nice touch that the establishment provides. Even though it may not seem like much, you will get the impression that you are truly welcome there because of this.
The wine list at Le Crocodile is respectable, with over 75 different selections coming solely from France. In addition to that, they have products sourced from California, Italy, and Australia.

Don’t let the fact that there are only a few tables in the restaurant dissuade you from going there; it’s one of the few places of its kind in the area. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the furnishings are understated but stylish.
Although the menu at Lupo Restaurant is frequently updated, the one time that my boyfriend and I went there for a date night, I ordered the mushroom risotto, and he ordered the pappardelle with duck ragu.
Both were of the highest quality! Amazing lemon tart was what we all decided to share for dessert.
